After completing the above two steps, you can start chatting with AI characters!
Start Chatting
Step 1: Select Character
- Return to the "Character Cards" tab
- Click any imported character card to start a conversation
Step 2: Send Message
- Enter your message in the bottom input box
- Click the send button
Step 3: Enjoy Conversation
- AI will reply to you based on character settings
Usage Tips
- Character Settings: You can view and edit complete character settings on the character details page
- Conversation History: All conversations are automatically stored locally
- Multi-Character Switching: You can maintain conversations with multiple characters simultaneously

- Make sure the file is in character card format. It cannot be identified by the naked eye, just ensure it's compatible with Silly Tavern

- Verify API account has balance
- Try switching to a different provider
